Born in 1975 in Kalihati Upazila, Tangail District, Bangladesh, M. Aminur Rahman enlisted in the Bangladesh Air Force on 31 March 1994 and served with distinction for 29 years. Advancing through the ranks from Leading Aircraftman to Warrant Officer, he acquired extensive expertise in the repair, maintenance, and storage of ground and airborne armament systems — encompassing missiles, explosives, small arms, and ammunition. Over the course of his career, he completed six professional military courses, earned a diploma recognised as equivalent to Associate Engineer by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, and was deployed to the Democratic Republic of Congo under the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission (MONUSCO), where he was awarded the United Nations Medal for meritorious service.

Curriculum encompassed guided missiles, ejection devices, aircraft armament electrical systems, explosives regulation, and maintenance management.
